The Price is Right!

The last two weeks we created a price is right game. The game I did was a pick the right flap game and if you pick the win. If you get some prices right you get a bigger chance of winning.

What I figured out about probability is that it could be used to guess the chance of winning. I also learned that it could be difficult to do and that it is in chapter 10.

Learning about math is different than Imath. I think imath is better for me because I can work on my own and own pace. I think I learned less in this.

European Union

I think The European Union is a better idea then no European Union. Because Before we had to exchange money and it took way longer. With this we could just go though a country without doing anything instead of having to get a signature and exchange money. Not having to exchange money was easier because you could be like “Hi, I want a bumper sticker” and get one and move on.

Between Mexico and Zeeland these our some differences between them.

-It seems we have nicer houses

-It also looks like they have nicer grave stones.

-It looks like there roads have no lines.

One person, Peter, I had came from Canada but came from Netherlands to Canada to USA. It wasn’t hard to come here, Peter said,“he came here on work cards and got married and had kids in USA and they could be a Canada citizen, USA citizen, and Netherlands citizen. He told us a story that when he was skiing in Canada and it was cold and froze a tow nail off, well actually it was cold and so cold he must of hit his tow on the end of his boot because his tow nail was gone. The story he told us was important because that way we could us that story, like now, and know what its like for him.
The ZCS Librarian, Mrs. Hildabrand, is from Hong Kong and it used to be british territory sense 1998 I believe, in Hong Kong the kids cant look there moms in the eye or they will have to say there very sorry and wont do it again. She told us that kids don’t have lives the go to school, do homework, eat, more homework, and go to bed. Sense china took Hong Kong back they have been sending 300 people a day, and from this they have to build into the ocean to have building space. This is important because we can see what its like in Hong Kong. She also told us a big secret, thanks Mr. VanDyke for bringing it up.

I found 4-5 very hard but when we got the hang of it it was a bit easier 4-6 was hard too. On 4-5 I realized  that you take the missing side and find the side on the other shape and a random side and I do 4-3.

They give you 2 shapes and you need to find the missing side so pick missing side and random side

and do 3/x = 7/11

You can use this to measure distance like across the pond.

The persecution around the earth is unbelievable with what they do some get arrested some get killed its very disappointing. In Iran they get arrested and put in jail and all over the world why do people do this its not right the bible is what we al need to worship.

We had Technology. The wind turbine is modern technology. It spins and the house will light up. It is an example of wind energy. The food and slide show is ancient technology. The food is to help with medicine/health. There are also inventions that made it easier to build the pyramids.

Then we had Art. The Poster is Modern Egyptian Arts. There is a lot of stuff on it. The computer is Egypt music that people can listen to. The game is ancient Arts. It’s a fun match game.

Reflecting As a learner

What I have enjoyed in the last several weeks are these. I’ve enjoyed learning about earth quakes in science class because they can happen at any time. Also, I’ve enjoyed learning about the last days of Jesus’s life in Bible because we get to see what Jesus went through for us.

My skills that I’m learning to do right now are these. I’m learning to be a good band member and play fluently so I can show talent. I’m learning to do a 5 paragraph writing assignment that is about us so we learn to write big stories.

When we watch clips of the lesson, it helps me learn so I can think of the movie and know what happened and who was there.
