Katniss Everdeen
Her favorite color will forever be green
Was a brave volunteer,

Paranoid, Pale, Pophroph
This is a Pophroph.
It lives in La Palma, Panama, in pits and potholes.
A Pophroph eats Pepsi, pepperoni, plums and potatoes.
It likes, pacing, and panicking, panting and pausing.

Tranquil
Tranquility is as blue as a calm spring sky.
It sounds like running water.
It tastes like warm homemade muffins.
And smells like clean clothes.
Tranquility looks like a picnic on a sunny day.
It makes you feel at peace.

Idea
Complex, simple
Generating, expanding, advancing
It’s the beginning of almost anything
Theory
Pleasure
Peaceful, pleasing
Play, pray, pretend,
Always happy never sad

Who am I?
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” First of all is that what makes me different is the fact that I stay connected to Christ, and Christ lives in me. This verse also tells me that because of Jesus I can never do something so bad that the slate can’t be wiped clean. In Christ I can be new, no matter what. 1 Peter 2:9 says “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” This verse says that I am chosen and I am God’s prized possession. In other words, I am important to God. Like a lot of things with God his love for me wont change, ever. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” I was chosen by God to come into this world, and I have a purpose to carry out. A lot of people say they need to find what they were made to do but I think that your purpose is something that can only be understood looking back. Meanwhile life needs to be lived looking forward.
Who are we?
Romans 12:3-6 says, “For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;” We were all made differently and we were created to need each other. In other people we find what we lack. Because of this we are stronger together. My weaknesses are other people’s strengths and my strengths are other people’s weaknesses. If everyone was made the same we would not see other people being good at the things that we are not good at. Then we would never be challenged to do better. I imagine life without challenges being extremely boring. This is why I’m glad that we were made differently.
Who is He?
God is my strength. I think that God works outside of our comfort zones. For example God needed some one to talk to Pharaoh so He choose Moses the guy with the speech problem. Am I the only one that finds that funny? I don’t have the courage to live out side of my comfort zone on my own. I’m strong until I get into a situation that I’m not quite used to. I need God to be my strength because I can’t live forever where everything is familiar. As a christian I’m called to do things that I’m not comfortable with trusting God to be my strength.

Over the past week in science we have been learning about density. To find the density of an object we had to find the mass and divide it by the volume. If and object is more dense then water than it will sink and if it is less dense it will float. Two objects of the same size can have different densities because they can be made up of different matter. Different matter has different densities.

The past couple months my class and I have been writing picture books. To start the proses we made surveys and helped 1st graders at our school fill them out. Then based on the surveys we brainstormed the main ideas of our books. Next we wrote rough drafts of our books. After that we wrote final drafts and drew pictures to go along with the story. Last but not leas we shared our finished books with 1st graders. I loved reading in the end because it gave us a chance to show of our books plus the kids were really cute. I learned that there is a lot more that goes into picture books than I thought. They seem very simple but they take a very long time to plan. Sense there are not very many words in a picture book every word is chosen for a reason.

At our last chapel Tim Bosch came and talked about his story. Tim has had brittle bone decease all of his life. He was born with 12 broken bones and the doctors told his parents that he probably wouldn’t live more than one day. Now he is 18 years old and is a living miracle. But what makes Tim stand out isn’t the fact that he’s alive, it’s his outlook on life. I have to say that I don’t know him very well. From the little I have seen of him I can tell that even though his life basically sucks he is extremely positive. The last thing that anyone would ever hear Tim do is complain. This makes me sorta mad because a lot of people, myself included, like to make a big deal about little things that go wrong. Meanwhile Tim is making no deal at all about things that go wrong that are a big deal. I think that sometimes complaining is the same as saying we deserve better and in all honesty we deserve hell. The word that sicks with me after Tim’s chapel is enough, Tim realizes that he has enough. I’m starting to realize that the sooner I can look at what I have and think enough the better.
