Lansing Field trip By: Corbin Vandenbrink

Three things I learned:

– Michigan’s capitol was once in Detroit until the war with the British we moved to Lansing.

– Lansing was a big swampy area before it was Michigan’s capitol.

– Michigan’s copper mining got Michigan more money than California’s gold rush!

Three things that are memorable:

– Being in the giant bubble at Impression 5.

– Meeting representative Haveman in the Capitol Building.

– Laying down on the floor looking up at the big dome in the Capitol Building.
