Metaphor Writing

I am a ocean, there are many different components to an ocean, God made the ocean which consists of many creatures and things we probably don’t even know about. The ocean consists of many waves continually flowing through the ocean almost all day everyday, waves shape the ocean and are caused by the power of the energy of the wind against the water. Just like me I am shaped by those around around me I am who I was thought to be as a child and still as I grow up and I know that I will continually be affected by those around me my whole life.

I am also like an ocean because the ocean consists of salt water. When you look at the ocean you wouldn’t know it was salt water until you get in the water and really inspect it you would need to smell it taste it or open your eyes under water. Just like me if you just look at me you won’t really know who I am until you really get to know me. You will have to talk to me spend time with me and just get to know me to really know who I am as a person.

I am and Ocean because the ocean has many creatures good ones and bad ones that I can relate too. The ocean has really cool animals like dolphins and colorful fish and coral but the ocean is a big place that also has big, ugly, mean, destructive creatures that can make you afraid to go swimming without worry. Just like me I sin and sometimes say mean things that will make people not want to be around me, but I know that this is completely normal and that God created me just like how he wanted to. God created all the bad creatures in the ocean and without them the ecosystem would crash just like how we all have different gifts and talents and our world could not run without them.

Finally, I am like the ocean because the ocean has different depths. The ocean can go from shallow to hundreds of feet deep in not that much distance, some parts of the ocean reach up to 36,000 feet. Just like the differents depths of the oceans I have different places, topics and hobbies that I put a lot of deep thought into. For example my 3 biggest things that I do and spend my time and thoughts on is sports, God and school. Those topics make up my life and are what I involve most of my life and my deepest thoughts in just like the depths of the ocean.
