1. What did you learn?

• Electromagnets are something that  are powered by electricity and as long as the wire (it is connected to both the positive and the negative sides of the battery) is coiled around the electromagnet

• The more coils you wrap around the electromagnet with the wire, the more paper clips it can pick up.

• Electromagnets are a kind of circuit, there is a source, path, and load.

• If the circuit is broken, the electromagnet will lose its magnetism. If the circuit is closed, then the electromagnet will work.

2. How can we apply that to our pinball machine?

When the ball goes down the magnet will drag it into the launcher so the next person can play.
