I learned that the earth’s equator (an imaginary line across the earth) extends out into space and when it is out in space it is called the celestial equator.
One question I had was are there any planets other than Earth and Mars that could have living things live on them?
What amazes me about all that we heard was that God made all of the galaxies and planets and dwarf planets and so much more in only 6 days!
The reason God was not mentioned in the presentation is probably because not everyone is a Christian and might not know who God was and might be confused.
If I ran the presentation I would have told a group of 5th grade kids who were learning about our universe all that the guide told us and then asked if there were any more questions about anything about the solar system because our guide didn’t ask us if we had any other questions. What was really cool though was that we got to touch a real meteorite!
