Persecution of Christ Followers!

I noticed that new born Christian babies brains are pithed with forceps in front of their mother in North Caria. I also noticed that if a Christian was found in Kazakhstan they would be sent to a death camp! Also I heard that in Iran a youth paster was hacked, so people busted in while he was teaching about Christ and they beat/hacked him to death!

Although I wonder WHY people kill, hang, even HACK, Christians, when all they are doing is teaching the Gospel to people that want to know about are God! Except some people like their religions and don’t want anyone else to STOP following their “real” gods, or goddesses.

My friends

My relationship with my friends is easy, they are very nice. (Sometimes). I just wish I had more friends. I think that the girls in my grade are nice. They never talk bad about anyone, at least from what I hear. I like the girls in my grade. They are all special in their own unique ways. Now have a good rest of your day. 🙂

For our Egypt Project, me, Megan, Andres and Justin did Ancient and Modern Art, and Ancient and Modern Government.

Now let me start with Ancient and Modern Art. Let’s go with Ancient, shall we? Ok, so in Ancient times they did sculpting, painting, building and Graffiti! In sculpting usually the sculptor worked for the Pharaoh and his wife, so whatever they told them to sculpt, they did. They usually sculpted the Pharaoh, his wife, or the gods they worshiped. In painting the painter sometimes worked for the Pharaoh, but not all the time. Sometimes the painter painted landforms, graffiti, and specific parts of life. The builders in Ancient times were usually slaves. Not today. The slaves were forced to bring huge chunks of stone up the sides of the Pyramids as they built them. Slaves built the Pyramids of Giza, and carved the Great Sphinx that guards the Pyramids. Now GRAFFITI!! Graffiti was used to express the painters feelings, like if they were sad and depressed they would put the Sad Panda in their art. The Sad Panda is a big panda on it’s hind legs, slouching, with a depressed look on it’s face. Lets go through time to Modern Day Art ok? So in Modern art they also have Graffiti, building, painting and sculpting, all used in the same way. Except for the gods part in sculpting, they worship God. Building is also different, because they don’t have slaves. Architects and builders design and conquer.:)

Now to Ancient and Modern Government. As usual we will start with Ancient. Ancient government had a Pharaoh, no President. A Pharaoh, and the pharaoh owned everything. When I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. The people’s clothes, their houses, their food, everything. The Pharaoh had a ton of slaves working for him, serving him, feeding him! (not technically ‘fed him). The Pharaoh also had a vizor. The vizor watched the city, and told the Pharaoh what was happening. To Modern we go! Ok, now there is a President. You know what a President is right? Cool. So the President RUNS everything. He doesn’t OWN everything now. Only the Pharaohs did. The fourth President Egypt had was Hosni Mubarak. Mubarak was kicked out of presidence for not being fair to the people, raising taxes and stuff like that. That’s all I got for you. Have a good rest of your day!

Bye! Adios! In Arabic they say وداعا! (they write bye that way:))
