Out of all the acts we have studied in our time looking at the road to the Revolution, which do you consider to be the harshest, and why?

I consider the harshest act to be the Quartering act. I think this because of the shortage of food and supplies during the road leading up to the revolution. The colonists did not have  very much food. They also didn’t have very much room to house soldiers that ate a lot and took up a fairly large amount of room. Also, the soldiers had authority to do things to the colonists that all the other regular solders had authority over. It was like having someone who could arrest you living in your house.
