This spring break, I went to 2 places. First, I went to Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. It was really cool. It is the biggest cave system in the world. 450 feet! We went in the caves twice and it was fun. We saw stalagmites and stalagtites. Our voices would echo in the cave.

Then we went to Gaitlinburg, Tennessee. There we visited the smoky mountains. They are named after the blue mist that raises out of them. We went on trails everyday. My favorite hike was called Laurel Falls. It is 1 ¼ mile each way. When you get there, there is a pretty waterfalls.

On Friday though, it rained alot so we went to “Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies” It was a very cool and we got to see a lot of sharks.

I want to go to the Smoky Mountains again!
