Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so we had a all school chapel about it. We are also talking about it as a class. We have to read his speech, and answer a few questions so here you go.  Martin Luther King Jr.’s dreams have come true because now white people don’t have black slaves and know we live in harmony at least in Zeeland, MI we do. His dream might not have come true everywhere though because people of different races may live in harmony here but they don’t everywhere else. People may still be judged by the color of their skin but it isn’t as bad as it used to be.

That is what I thought, but we also looked at a blog and it showed us a lot of stuff. I was surprised about a lot of but the thing I was surprised the most about is that  a lot of black people still go to schools where only 25% of the kids are white. Another thing I was surprised at was that that minimal wage has gone down I thought that it would have gone up but it is now $7.25 instead of $9.54. So thats it for today bye.
