My family lives a good life on the sea. We have the strongest navy in the whole world. I am in the navy I row and row it is so boring. Once we were attacking and my friend got out of the boat onto land and he got shot in the arm by an arrow and I had to take care of him for the rest of the fight. My wife goes to the agora to get the stuff we need for a everyday life. We use coins to trade and buy stuff. We trade with people, I trade a lot because then I can see what other people have that I could use.
My dad goes to the democracy assembly every day I never see him now that he is doing that. My dad and I go to the assembly every 10 days when all the men come and listen to laws. My wife wishes she could come with me but she is not a citizen so she can’t go and make laws pass. Once They were looking for more men to come and I for got the day it was going on so I saw slaves holding paint and they came and grabbed me and covered me in paint. My family likes me going because they like it when I support them when they can’t go. I like that I can go and do whatever I want because I am a free man.
My son can go to school then once he is done with that he joins the military/navy. My daughter, she can’t go to school because she is not a citizen so she stays home with my wife and my wife teaches her to do stuff around the house. My family has many slaves for me so they can go and work for me. I’m thankful for them because they do a lot of jobs that I don’t have enough time to do. My family lives a good life.
