Picture Book Reflection

We created Picture Books in school, and we had to read them to the little kids in our school. First we went to talk to the kids and gave them a survey of what they would want our books to be about, then we made our rough drafts.  We had to have a few people edit our books and then wee made a final draft and read it to people. I think this project got a little bit boring after a week or two and I didn’t really like it. I thought that the best part of my book was the beginning and the cover. I messed up on the back and wrote the word upside down :). Silly me, so then I had to write on it “Turn around to read this.” I learned that it is a lot more work than you would think to write a picture book for little kids. I’m glad that people have a job as an illustrator, because i’m awful at drawing the pictures.
