We have been working on a project for school to design a park or gathering space to replace or add onto heritage square. So far we have asked some people from downtown zeeland about what they would want to see at a new park. About if it should match the historic look of zeeland or if it should look new. If it should have a water feature and what kind. We have added up our ideas some where crazy and silly but our groups made it make sense and work for the design. There have been ideas for a calming park and a wild park. We have been thinking of adding both with a few sections for kids parents and the elderly to enjoy. We have targeted the park to all ages. One member of our group hade insane but great idea of a lazy river but we built and broke down on it and made it work and it hade been implemented into our design. I have found out how nice it is to design with others and hear there ideas instead of working alone and make the park suit you instead of everyone.
