This year in 6th grade you get put into groups and learn all about Egypt. So we have just finished that so we are going to go back and tell you about it. Ok so it started 4 weeks ago I think. We were graded on how good we worked with each other. But so my group decided to tell people about government and religion.
So we made a sphinx cause he was pretty much an idol to the Egyptians. We made a pyramid out of legos cause that was for religion because the pyramids were made for the pharaoh which they considered a living god on earth. The pyramid was made so that the pharaoh when he died he would be put in the pyramid cause it was his tomb. They believed that the pyramid would help the pharaoh go to heaven.
So for government we pulled up a test on our laptop that people could take and it would tell them if they could be the government officials. Also the sphinx showed government cause the slaves wouldn’t work if there was no government to hurt them if they don’t. So in all my group did well but we had some down and ups. It seemed that a lot of people liked our table and all the stuff on it.
