My favorite bookI read in 5th grade was Running out of Time. It was about a girl named Jessie who lived in a pioneer town.

In her town many of the kids were getting sick. she found out that her town was fake and was a place where people could come and watch the town. Her mom told hershe needed to go get medicine for the kids that were sick, she has to go through the cities to find the person she needs to find.  It ends up being the wrong person! But in the endit all ends happily.

It is a very good book because it has some suspense and it is interesting to read. I liked a lot of books that I read this year,  but I thought this one was really good.
