For our chain we used Pipe cleaners, string, tape, straws, and rubber bands. We wrapped the string around the pipe cleaners for strength. We then twisted the ends into loops for the chain. We wrapped and tied the rubber bands around the end of the pipe cleaners to keep them from breaking apart. We added the straw loops on the end for extra length. Our chain turned out like we hoped it would.
