It is a full moon when the earth is directly in front of the moon. It’s like that because the suns rays reflect off the moon, and when the earth is in front off the moon we can see all full side of the moon. That’s when and why we can see a full moon sometimes.
It is a new moon when the moon is directly in front of the earth. It’s like that because the suns rays reflect off the moon back at the sun, so when it’s night time we can’t see any of the moon. That’s when and why there is a new moon.
