Is it hard for you to find a good book? Do you want a book that mirrors the Bible and teaches you good lessons? Well I have a book for you! The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe fills all of those categories. Today I’m going to focus on the lesson of forgiveness in the book. Here are my reasons, God (or Aslan) forgave us (or Edmund) so we should forgive others. Another reason is forgiveness is a good thing to learn. Last but not least we all make mistakes. I hope after you read this essay you’ll want to read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
My first reason is God (or Aslan) forgave us (or Edmund) so we should forgive others. For example in the story Aslan forgave Edmund even though he betrayed him. Another example is God sent his one and only son to die on the cross to save us from our sins. My last example is Jesus forgave us so many times it’s hard to count. Yet any time we sin we can ask for forgiveness and He forgives us.
Another reason is forgiveness is a good thing to learn. In the story the kids learned forgiveness when they had to forgive Edmund. Another example is everyone needs to learn forgiveness because humans make a ton of mistakes. My last example is God is the best at forgiveness. If you ask Him to help you learn forgiveness, he will help you.
My last reason is we all make mistakes. For example Edmund made a mistake when he betrayed his family. Another example is Peter and Susan made a mistake when they believed Edmund instead of Lucy. My last example is when Aslan gave Edmund a talk, Edmund was changed, Aslan forgave Edmund, and Edmund let the past go. From then on he kept his eyes on Aslan.

Solomon’s wisdom was one of the most awesome gift’s anybody could ever ask for, parents ask for wisdom every day and that Solomon got that gift from God is so cool, but even if you do have wisdom and you become popular like Solomon did don’t get caught up in all the fame, Solomon ended drifting away from God, if you ever have the wisdom like he did use it wisely to honor God.
I can apply this to my life by using Solomon’s wisdom in a good way and that even though I don’t have it I can still ask for it every day, and I can be as wise as I can every day.
