Africa

We did the Faces of Africa activity and we were taking a test that had multiple pictures of people on them and we had to guess if they were from Africa of not from their appearance. I learned that not all people in Africa look the same or what we think they would look like. When we did the card activity I learned that even though people don’t have food and water they have cell phones to communicate with other people. I learned that their is a struggle for people to try to get clean water because their is very little water in Africa and because most of it is desert and it’s hot because it is close to the equator so most of the water they have is either very little and or unclean water. I also learned that their is vary many deadly diseases in Africa and the hospitals have the medicine the people just can’t afford it. I learned that in Nigeria you could add up 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade and every person would speak a different language than one another so that is like how many different languages their are in Nigeria. More than over half the adults in South Africa are illiterate.
