Follow the Hard But the Straight Path

Have you ever been tempted to take a shortcut but said “NO”?

Well, I know a story about a man that Followed the Hard but straight path, his name is Christian. He followed the hard but straight path. You should too because, short cuts will lead to consequences, and God’s way is the right way, and last but not least, you will have eternal life.

You should follow the hard but straight path because if you don’t it will lead to consequences. One I did something wrong and was not allowed to play X-box for one week. An example is when Christian and Hopeful took a shortcut through the meadow. Their consequence was ending up with a giant named Giant Despair.

You should follow the hard but straight path because the hard but straight path is God’s way. An example is when Christian went to the cross. He knew that it was God’s way because his burden came off and he got new clothes. I was forgiven because Jesus was willing to die for me.

You should follow the hard but straight path because if you follow the hard but straight path you will have eternal life. An example is Christian and Hopeful went down the straight path. They went to the Celestial City (heaven) and now they have eternal life. I will have eternal life when I die because I will go to heaven. Jesus made that possible.

Now that you have read my essay I hope that you will follow the hard but the straight path because if you don’t you will have consequences, and because the hard but the straight path is God’s way and last but not least it will lead to eternal life.
