Issac’s Persepective (Genisis 12)

(Note: Please remember this blog is written in Issac’s perspective of the story)

One day I was in the camp with my mom and dad when my dad said we were going to sacrifice a animal on an altar. So we packed the wood and the knife and started to hike up the mountain. Half way up I asked my dad, “Where is the sacrifice?” “The LORD God will provide us with a sacrifice.” he responded. As we kept hiking up my father started to look worried. I thought maybe he was just worried that God wouldn’t bring the sacrifice. But I knew he would bring the sacrifice. As my dad fixed up the altar my he took out a rope, and he tied me to the altar. I got so scared as he put the knife up to my chest, but then, an angel appered and said, “Please do not kill your son. “You have trusted God in all your ways.” My dad untied me and found a ram in the bushes. We sacrifed that and walked down the mountain together.
