Book Reflection

  • The book I read is “I am Malala”. this book is an auto biography, written by Malala Yousafzai, Christina Lamb and Patrica McCormick. This book was written about Malala as she struggled through life in Pakistan. she was fighting for girls rights so that she could learn.

  • Malala is a young girl 13 or 14 who lives in a small house. Her dad owns schools one of them is for girls. She attends this school. Her dad is a big part of her life. Her mom Does not know who to read just like her aunts and cousins.

  • When Malala was born her family was mocked because it is considered unlucky to have a girl as their first child. Her father gave her the name of Malala because Malala is the name of a girl worrier that fought for the country. After her fathers school was attacked, she wanted to start standing up for girls rights.

  • I would give this book 5 stars, I loved learning more about other countries culture. Malala has inspired me to fight for my rights and the rights of others. I love this book because it is a true story, I would recommend this book to people that love auto biography or people that think that standing up for girls rights is cool, I would also recommend this book to people who like learning about the taliban and people that have been shot. I would recommend this book to the people who already read it because I have read it a few times and every time it has been better and better.
