Identity Crisis

I think that the Americans we having an identity crisis because they did not have any ownership by anyone, like they are used to. I think that they were kind of clueless on what to do after the revolutionary war. I think that ย was a very hard time period of our history, picture this, you just one a war and you are finally free, and you don’t know what to do with yourself. I think that was a very hard time for the americans. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

The Harsh Winter, an important part in the revolution.

I chose the harsh winter because it was a very hard time for the Americans or the Colonists. I think it was really hard and a different time for all of the colonists. (duh) Because they were low on many things such as food, supplies, and it wasn’t very warm and they had to start very small fires that didn’t even start. I also think that it was a very big learning experience for the soldiers and the commanders because they learned how to survive with very low supplies and materials. I think in a way it helped the colonists or the americans to grow stronger together and learn how to survive with very very low supplies and materials. I think it helped them as a team to grow together and win against the British. So in conclusion the harsh winter was really hard but it helped the colonists or americans win the battle against the British also it made them stronger in many ways. So it may have been hard but they made it through and they won the war against the British. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you maestra Cabral for teaching us about this!!!!!!!!

William Barton

I think that William Barton was excited for the harsh winter to all be over. ย He also wanted three things that he wanted from home when he wrote to his dad. He wanted a letter from home, a little bit of sugar, and just a little bit of chocolate. He also said that he was originally planing on returning in February but instead he decided that he was going to return in April, and also special holidays. He also was ready to go back and fight agin. I think he missed his family a little bit, but he also a a very big heart to be free and have freedom for all of us. I really think he was a good man. And he was very close with his father. PS Ethan BArton this sounds like a letter you would write, do you think that you are related to him? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
