My projects and stories

JP Visit

I learned a lot today from JP. He was a great storyteller. I learned that wearing ankle socks is unusual in India, and that curry powder does not go well with mashed potatoes. It is hard to get a Visa, because of that one lady who always says no, and because you have to wait outside the US Embassy overnight, through rain, and maybe even wait all day and find out you have to come back in a month. India is very, very different than America, but it sounds so interesting! 600 year old towns are considered new. 15 million people in a city is considered a small town. 1,652 languages are spoken in India. JP speaks 6 languages. JP was super fun to listen to.
