Dropping Fast

            “Mom! are we there yet?”, “No. it’s going to be a while before we get there.”  Grace’s mom replied. “Grace lets play a game to pass the time.”, Grace’s friend Jordyn exclaimed.

“Yes I thought you would never ask.”, Grace exclaimed. “Lets play I spy!”, Jordyn yelled. “I’ll go first.

I spy with my little eye something blue.”, Grace groaned. “THE SKY!”,

Jordyn screamed “Pipe down.”, Grace’s mom groaned. “Correct.”.

Grace replied to Jordyn. “My turn. I spy with my little eye something red.”, Jordyn exclaimed.                                                                          “That motorcycle.”, Grace replied. “It’s my shirt!”, Jordyn yelled.

“Guys were almost there.”, Grace’s mom replied.

“Yay!”, Grace and Jordyn yelled

       Chapter 2

                  Grace and Jordyn got out of the car onto the fairgrounds. “Mom!”, yelled Grace “Hurry up!”

Once Grace’s mom caught up she paid for the tickets to ride the rides

and play the games. Grace and Jordyn ran up to a dart game.

 “Do you want to try?”, the guy asked.

“Yes please.”, Grace and Jordyn replied. “I’ll go first.”, Grace exclaimed.

   The guy gave her the darts and she threw the first one, she missed.

She threw the second one, she missed.

Her face turned pale, and she bit her lip. She threw the third one she hit the balloon!

“Good job, you won a giant teddy bear!”, The man hollered.

   “Thank you.”, Grace replied.

“My turn!”, Jordyn yelled.

The guy gave her the darts, She threw the first dart as fast as a cheetah.

She hit the balloon! She threw the second dart.

She hit a balloon again! She threw the third dart. She hit another!

 “Great Job! You win a toy remote control helicopter!”,

The guy hollered.

“Thank you.”, Jordyn replied. “You are lucky you got that helicopter.”,

 Grace groaned.  “You got a teddy bear!”, Jordyn yelled.

 

                        Chapter 3

  “Lets walk around a little bit.”, Grace’s mom replied.

Grace, Jordyn, and Grace’s mom all walked around the fair.

    “Cotton candy!”, yelled Grace. “Can we get some?”, wailed Grace.

“Yes, we can.”, Grace’s mom sighed “Yay!”, Grace and Jordyn yelled.

        “Two cotton candies please.”, Grace’s mom asked the person  behind the counter.

 “Thank you.”, Grace’s mom exclaimed as she took

 the cotton candy from the man.    “Here you go!”, Grace’s mom groaned as she gave the two cotton candy.   “Thanks!”, Grace and Jordyn yelled as they bit into the cotton candy. Grace and Jordyn ate as fast as wolves.

 they both had smiles on their faces and their hands were sticky.

                          Chapter 4

     “Hey, lets ride those rides!”, Grace exclaimed as they walked up to the rides. They got into the line and watched the people go around and around.        “Thats the Sizzler!”, Jordyn exclaimed.

   Then they walked onto a cart and the ride started

“Hold on tight!”, Jordyn screamed as the ride went faster and faster

      around and around they went.

“I can’t believe this ride.”, Grace wailed.  “What?”, Jordyn asked.

 “I can’t believe this ride!”, Grace screamed.  Suddenly the ride came to a stop. Jordyn and Grace got of the ride. “Let’s ride the Shock Drop!”,

Grace yelled. Grace and Jordyn walked up to the ride and Grace’s mom followed them.   “I don’t know.”, Jordyn mumbled. Jordyn and Grace

got on the ride. They sat on a seat and the ride started

up,up,up,up,up they went all of the sudden BAM!

“What just happend?”,

asked Grace “We went down.”, Jordyn replied. “I think my tummy is in my

throat.”, Grace exclaimed. Grace and Jordyn. got off the ride.

      “I’ll never do that again.”, Grace whispered.

“Ah! i’m shaking!”, Grace yelled. “Ya because you’re scared.”, Jordyn snickered as she turned around.

“You’re still scared too, you’re shaking still!”, Grace argued.

“Girls lets get some food.”, Grace’s mom exclaimed.

      “We are still shaking.”, Jordyn whispered to Grace.

Grace, Jordyn, and Grace’s mom went to an elephant ear stand.

“May I please get three small elephant ears.”, Grace’s mom asked the

person behind the counter. Grace’s mom took out some money

and gave it to the man. The man took the money and gave Grace’s mom

the elephant ears. Grace’s mom took the elephant ears to a picnic table.

                 “Lets eat!”, Jordyn yelled. Grace, Jordyn, and Grace’s mom

ate the elephant ears.  “I’m done.”, Grace exclaimed.

“Me too.”, Jordyn sighed.

      Chapter 5

“Lets go to the car.”, Grace’s mom exclaimed.

Grace, Jordyn, and Grace’s mom went to the car. They walked past the elephant ear stand, past the Shock Drop, past the Sizzler, past the dart game, past the gate into the parking lot.  “Can we watch a movie?”,

Grace asked her mom.  “Yes, you can.”, Grace’s mom replied as they got into the car. Grace’s mom turned on the car and then she turned on a movie and drove out of the parking lot onto the road and off they went.

  “That was a fun day.”, Jordyn murmured under her breath.

 “I liked the Sizzler the most.”, Grace exclaimed.

“I liked the dart game the most.”, Jordyn explained as she looked at

her toy helicopter.     “I liked it too.”, Grace replied as she looked at

her giant teddy bear.

  “I like my teddy bear.”, Grace exclaimed.

“That wasn’t so scary after all.”, Grace exclaimed.

“Now that you think about it, no it wasn’t so scary.”, Jordyn replied.

    “Let’s do it next year.”, Grace exclaimed. Grace, Jordyn, and Grace’s mom drove away.
