Every Kid Should Have An Allowance

Every Kid Should Have An Allowance

By: Kaylie DeYoung

Have you ever wondered how many kids in Michigan have an allowance? I have found out 30,000 kids in Michigan alone have an allowance just for clothes. Every kid should have an allowance. Allowance lets kids have the freedom to earn their own money. If a kid has an allowance the kid can save the allowance for gifts, toys, pets, college, a car, or whatever else they want to get.  If a kid has an allowance they are exercising and learning responsibilities as well as earning money.

Every kid should have an allowance because they have the freedom to earn money. For example having an allowance can teach you how to earn money when you get older and how working for money works.

Every kid should have an allowance because they could save their allowance up

for a car, collage, a house or their own pet. Research tells me 30,000 kids in Michigan alone have an allowance just for clothes. I have also learned that having an allowance can teach you if you want a little PEZ dispenser that is 20 dollars you might as well spend your money on something like a used Ipod or something.

Every kid should have an allowance because if a kid has an allowance they are exercising and learning responsibilities as well as earning money. For example if you have an allowance you could buy something you want without using your parent’s money. If I had an allowance I would probably save it up, that is a responsibility to learn.

Every kid should have an allowance because you have to work to earn money, so you

aren’t just earning money, but you are also exercising and learning responsibilities,

also the kid would be able to buy their own clothes with their own money. If the kid had an allowance they would be able to buy their own house or their own pet. I realize that having an allowance can be easy and hard, hard because you have to work hard, easy because it is easy to save money.

Every Kid should have a pre-school buddy

Every Kid Should have a Pre-School Buddy

By Kaylie DeYoung

Every kid should have a pre-school buddy because Preschoolers are fun to play with & they are easy to play with. The older student learns responsibilities for when they get older. Also the buddies become best friends with eachother.

  1. Every kid should have a pre-school buddy because they are really fun to play with and they are easy to play with. For example when they are really familiar with you and know you really well  they are not so shy, they perk up and are really energetic. When I first met my pre-school buddy she was shy and wasn’t very energetic but the second time I came to her class she was really happy to see me and she was really energetic!

  1. Every kid should have a pre-school buddy the older student learns responsibilities for when they get older. Another example is you get to learn how to deal with pre-school buddies and also how to deal with siblings. You also get to help them with stuff they can’t do by themselves. I learned if your pre-school buddy isn’t behaving you don’t yell at them you just lightly tap them.

  1.   Every kid should have a pre-school buddy because the older student and the preschooler  become best friends. This connects with when I met my first buddy we became best friends and we loved seeing each other. You also get to bond with them and get to know them better. This is similar to when me and my sister fight we sometimes break it up and bond with each other, but sometimes we just go on fighting.

Every kid should have a pre-school buddy because Preschoolers are fun to play with when they know you better. The older buddy gets to learn how to deal with preschoolers and also siblings. Also you get to be friends with your buddy you can bond with them and get to know them better as well.
