Día de los Muertos

In Spanish class today we celebrated Dia de los Muertos.  Dia de los Muertos is translated into English as Day of the Dead.  I thought that it is interesting that Dia de los Muertos involves celebrations.  Many people celebrate the day to honor the dead by making alters with pictures of people that they know who died.  I think that it is good that people honor and remember people who have passed away.  Typically, in our culture we forget people who have died.  I think that Dia de los Muertos is an interesting celebration.
