1. What stands out to you from the book or one of our conversation?  What impacted you most?

The music stood out to me.  I thought that it was cool how to book had a different kind of music playing at different times depending  on what was going on in the book.  I was impacted by their culture.  It was interesting that their community was always together.

2. What do you learn from this book or one of our conversation?  Why does it matter?

I learned how much the pearl means to the people and also how much money means to them.  It matters because they want good for their family and having a pearl that is worth money means a lot.

3.  How does what you learned cause you to live, think, or approach the people around you differently?

Everyone is different and comes from a different culture and background, but it is still good to show respect to them, even though they might be a little different.

I like this post and I agree with it! I think that greed is a horrible think and think that it is sad that they lost everything because of greed.
