In fifth grade there was a lot of cool and fun memories with my family and at school. A couple of them are…. When I got the class paper in the mail, I ripped it open and saw that my teacher was Mrs. Driy! I was so excited! And this year, I realized that Mrs. Driy was really fun and had a lot of cool surprises this year. One of them is the stuffed animals on the shelf. She has a lot of stuffed animals on the wall and whenever you do something good or you finish your homework on time, you get a yellow ticket and you put it in the bag, and each month she picks a winner to pick out a stuffed animal! And I got picked! I was not the first person but I was so excited. And she has a bin for 2nd and 3rd prize winners. When your name gets picked for that, she has cool stuff in there! She has pop, erasers, pens, pencils, small items, markers and other cool things! Also she has a lot of cool books in the class room!!! I didn’t even know there was such thing as like 200 books in one classroom. ( I don’t know the exact number of books, but I think it’s a round 150!) Another funny memory is that this year, we only had 5 other girls. Every year, the boys have more than us. This year the girls in my class are Taylor, Lauren S. , Megan, Elaina, and myself! And half way through the year, Kianna joined our class!!! She is very nice. I enjoy all the girls in my class and they are very fun to hang out with. I enjoyed my fifth grade year! The thing I most enjoy about the last day of school is that…. It is my last day of Elementary.
My hopes and dreams for middle school…….
I hope that Mrs. LyndaMulder will come back to teach 6th Grade. There is not a lot of dreams for middle school, because I know that middle school will be fun!! I do hope that all my friends would be in my home room class!! I am looking forward to middle school because they give us computers to use and we get to take them home! And we go to school earlier, but we get out of school earlier then the Elementary kids! I also am excited for 6th Grade camp!!! And in middle school, you feel so.. good! And in middle school, you can be crazy and have a lot of fun. In Elementary you can do that to, but something about the words, Middle School, just make it sound.. sound cool! And when people ask you what grade your in, you can say, “I am in middle school! I am a 6th Grader!” I cannot wait until next year when I get to be a middle schooler! I will enjoy summer, but I cannot wait until that day, when I am a 6th Grader next year!
