Two things that helped Paul in his ministry were when he converted to a Christian and when his name changed from Saul to Paul. Without becoming a Christian Paul would’ve never been able to tell people about God and He wouldn’t have been saved. Paul means Humble which is what he became after he converted.  Away God might be using me is how my family adopted my sister from Haiti. This made me learn about patience. It takes a lot of patience to deal with my sister but God is helping me through all of it.

 this project was fun to do. I learned a lot about Christian persecution in Syria and in the entire world. Some things I learned about persecution in the world is that 255 Christians are killed,104 are kidnapped,180 Christian women are raped, sexually harassed or forced into marriage, 66 churches are attacked, and160 Christians are put in jail without trial. I feel like I was able to answer a lot of the questions that people asked us about Christian persecution in Syria.

This project was really fun to do in science. I think our tower will do good because we have a lot of support for our tower we also have a basket to hold the egg. We spent exactly 4875, which was the limit we also bought insurance.

 I think the pipe cleaner part will work best because it is the most solid. I think the part that might cause a problem is the paper because it might rip. We didn’t use the sticks because we could not figure out how to make them a loop.

I have enjoyed a lot of things this year. But I really enjoyed going to camp this year it was really fun to get to know all my friends again and learn new things about them. I have learned something from the call of Abraham in Bible class this year. I learned a lot about with my partner same who helped me. I am really looking forward to going to camp timberwolf later in the year.

We made this boat in science. I think this boat will do well because of how big the sail is. We are trying it backwards and forwards to see which way is faster. I think our boat will get a competitive time. I don’t think we will win though.

This summer the first thing I did was go to the Philippines. That was so much fun, my favorite part was meeting the kids and playing basketball with them. something else that was not that fun was how many delays we had in the airports and how bored we got. Another fun part about the Philippines was going to Puerto Galera. After we got back from the Philippines I didn’t really have much to do. Later in the summer I went to the smoky mountains. We did a lot of hiking in the mountains. When we got home from that I went to camp geneva with kayson. We hung out and had a lot of fun. After camp we still hung out for a while and did a lot of dumb stuff. That was pretty much my whole summer.

I thought it was weird how many people died before they were one year old in Chad. I thought it was cool that even though people were black doesn’t mean they were from Africa. I used to think that if you were white you were most likely from the US but that’s not true at all. I also thought it was weird how many people have phones in Africa, I did not think they had phones.

In this paper, I am going to tell you how Emmett Till was treated unfairly. Emmett Till was a normal kid growing up in a middle-class black neighborhood. One day he was in a grocery store and all he did was whistle at the white woman working at the register and then four days later he was kidnapped, beat, and killed. They later found the body and shipped it to Chicago for an open casket funeral which is what his mother wanted so that many people could see what happened to Emmett all because of his skin color and whistling.

The men were arrested for a short amount of time than later in court, the all-white male jury took 67 minutes to decided the men were not guilty and had no punishments so they took them out of jail. About 4 weeks later the men admitted to killing Emmett and told magazines how they had killed him and got paid $4,000 for telling them. By the time they reopened the case in 2004 the killers were already dead. They said before they died “Emmett Till is dead why can’t he just stay dead.” They never got brought to justice and died as murderers.

I do not think Emmett Till was treated justly or fair at all. That whole story made me feel really sad that they would do something like that really all because of the color of his skin. There were a lot of beatings in those days and not all of them were recognized like this one. Even today there are still people being treated unfairly, it may not be as bad as this story but we should still recognize them and tell the people the right way to treat each other. I think everyone should be treated fair and right.
