My Favorite Book

My favorite book is Among the Free by Margaret peterson Haddix.This book is about illgal third-childen who are not allowed to be alive because family’s are only allowed to have two children because of the scarce amount of food.Luke a third child joined the population police with some of his friends to try to hurt the police from the inside out.But all the id cards the population police  took from the people to make new ones got blown up. So some of the men and boys including luke had to go to differnt city’s to give the people their new ids.One woman’s house luke had knocked on didn’t want to go out to the town square  so officer Houk came to the house and told him to take her to the town square and put her down and shoot her.But instead of shooting her luke ran away he ran as fast as he could.He ran until he was sure they had stopped chasing him.Her had to go find something to eat so he ran and ran until he found a village.He didn’t know it was run down.He ran in a house an tried to find food but there was none.Then he heard  voices coming in the house,voices of population police he tried to  find a way out there it was a hole he crawled out of it and ran then he found some people who gave him something to eat and a blanket.Then he went on and found some more people.Then they got in a truck and drove to the population police head quarters and then he made a speach about third children and then every one was free.Because the population police ran off.
