Reflecting as a learner

What I’ve enjoyed in the last couple weeks is: In science we are learning about the world and the layers and about what it is made of. We did a experiment with hard boiled eggs the shell was the crust the egg whites was the mantle and the yoke is the core and the outer core. We have also learned about earthquakes and how they happen. How they happen is the earths plates move and the movements cause earthquakes. A cool thing I learned is that there is different types of earthquakes some are really bad and some you can barely feel.

The skills that were learning to do right now is: In math we are learning how to make box and whisker plots, line plots and histograms. My favorite of the three is line plots because they are really easy and they are kind of fun. Another skill we are learning is we learned how to find the longitude and latitude on a map. At first it was hard for me but then I figured it out and it was really easy to do after that.

How I like to learn is by interactive activities. I like interactive activities because you can make things that help  remind you what you have to learn. Also when you don’t do interactive activities you can dose off quicker and you can forget it easier. One of the interactive activities we are doing is a project about Egypt. We are making museum. One of the exhibits my group is doing is letting tourist mummify toy baby’ and toy cat’s.
