How did you feel or what did you expect going into fifth grade?

I felt a little nervous and sad that school was starting again.

El primer milagro de Jesus

Juan 2:1-11

Escribe la historia del primer milagro de Jesús de la perspectiva de una persona que asistía la boda: uno de los invitados, la novia, el novio, un discípulo, María, un sirviente, una sirvienta, el maestro del banquete.

Hoy era el día más asombroso de mi vida, estuve en una boda y se acabó el vino en medio de la boda. Había una mujer llamada maría estaba ahí también y su hijo también. Su hijo llamado jesús le dijo que no había llegado su hora. Su madre dijo a los sirvientes- hagan lo que les ordene. Había 6 tinajas de piedra que en cada uno cabían unos 100 litros. Jesús dijo a los sirvientes que las llenan con agua. Luego jesús dijo qué toman un poco y lo llevan al encargado del banquete, y así lo hicieron. El encargado del banquete probó el agua convertida en vino sin saber de dónde ha salido. Entonces tomó aparte él novio y le dijo- todos sirven el mejor vino primero, y cuando los invitados ya han bebido mucho entonces se sirve el vino más barato, pero tú has guardado el mejor hasta ahora.  

In chapel today we learned to put on our God glasses and see people for how they feel and act. Mrs Newman gave us this message through bible verses and examples. We are not only known by our names but by how we act: holy, Godly people and children of God. We all can take something away this lesson we all have seen somebody who needs help and we leave somebody else to do it but that was then this is now and we will help them. weather it be on the playground or in the neighborhood or on the other side of the world, we are called to help.

5th grade had to advertise about a colony my group and I had to advertise about the colony of Massachusetts. Our group work was ok not the best I wouldn’t stop singing, we had a few disagreements about who was going to do what but not very many. We were the first group to present and it was a little hard, but we did good, if I could do it again and have all the knowledge of what happened this time I would have changed a few things. I learned that Benjamin Franklin was born in Massachusetts the native americans caught cod and sturgeon up to 18 feet long.

Martin Luther King Jr was a baptist minister born in Atlanta in 1929, he was a civil rights leader and believed that everybody deserved the same. He gave his most famous speech in 1963 in Washington d.c it was called the I have a dream speech.

I would like my legacy to be something that people can look back to and think “wow that guy was a good guy he loved God and he changed things” I want to be the person that speaks up if things aren’t right or fair, the person that helps people and does things that benefit other people and not just myself. I don’t want people fighting over things like candy or electronics or whatever they’ll have at that time. People should have God first not the other way around.
