chapter 5:

Stuart got up from bed one morning. Snowball was laying down on the carpet, “Early riser?” said Snowball…

chapter 8:

2 new words:  Descend – to go down.   bronchitis – a cold, but worse!

My favorite part so far is how in every chapter Stuart Little has a different adventure. The best one so far is when he used his bow and arrow to protect Marglo (the bird)  from Snowball.

Next I think Stuart will almost get killed because the next chapter is called narrow escape.

chapter 11:

Ella (my sister) compered to Stuart Little:

Stuart is little like Ella.

Both Stuart and Ella are very nice.

Ella has brown hair unlike Stuart.

Ella and Stuart are different ages. Ella is 4 and Stuart is 7.

Stuart is a mouse and Ella is a human.

Chapter 13:

I liked how this chapter is how it was about stuart driving (in a model car with a gas motor.) And he used a souvenir (model) canoe as a real canoe. And he used his hat as a spoon.

Chapter 15 LAST CHAPTER!!!!!!:

What I liked about this book:

I liked how it was about one big adventure  with a bunch of little adventures in it. I hope there is a Stuart Little 2 (or Finding Marglo.)

Chapter 20

India Opal and Gloria Dump are reading “Gone With theWind”. They get to the part of the book where Scarlett is looking forward to going to a party with music and food. That is where Opal got the idea of having a party in Gloria Dump’s backyard. They decided to have egg salad instead of BBQ. So Opal goes out and invites a bunch of people. First she went to invite the preacher, then she went to Miss Franny. Miss Franny told her that pinch face Amanda Wilkenson was in the back of the library and told her to ask her. At first she did not want to, but she did and Amanda said yes. Then she went to Sweetie Pie. She asked what the theme would be and if Winn Dixie was coming. She said that maybe the theme could be a dog party. Last, but not least, she invited Otis. He didn’t want to come, but then he said yes. Opal told him to bring his guitar so that he could play music. Every one said yes to coming to the party.

I liked that they got the idea of having a party from “Gone with the Wind”.

I wonder if they are all going to come to the party and if they will have fun.

chapter 22.

People started coming to the party. Otis came last. Opal introduced him to everyone. He brought pickles and his guitar. They prayed and when they were done they heard a rumble of thunder. “Oh no.” they said, “We better get in the house.” said Otis.

Text to self: Otis brought pickles and I like them too.

Another text to self: Once I was at a friends house and it started to storm.

Last text to self: I like having parties in people’s back yards too.

      chapter 26 LAST CHAPTER!!!!!!!!

Opal walked back to Gloria’s mistake tree and said, “mama, I know ten things about you, and that’s not enough, but daddy is going to tell me more; I know he will, now that he knows you are not coming back. He misses you and I miss you, but my heart doesn’t feel empty anymore. it’s full all the way up. I’ll still think about you, I promise  But probably  not as much as I did this summer.” That is what she said right underneath Gloria Dump’s tree.

I liked the book because it was about a dog. I really liked that Winn-Dixie knew how to smile. I thought the part when Winn-Dixie got lost was sad. I liked that there were a lot of characters in the book instead of just one person. Now I want to watch the movie.

I  can serve others by encouraging them visiting them.
