All people who believe in Jesus and his death and resurrection are part of his are his family and you are adopted into his family. God’s family is called the church.  This cross has our names on it because we were saved from Jesus and our punishment was taken away from us. Jesus took the punishment for our sin. He died so we didn’t have to. He didn’t just die for one person he died for all of us. He did not die for only the people who love him and are good and are christians. He also died for people who hate him and who have been in jail and who are horrible. Jesus loves us so much. The cross is a puzzle because we are many parts and one body.
