                         Leepike Ridge

                                                                     By: Alyssa Gerritsma

Tom and his mom Elizabeth live in a house on top of the ridge. No one knows exactly how Tom’s dad died but they think that he died in an explosion in a plane crash.  Elizabeth is in love with Jeffrey and Tom does not like Jeffrey at all.

Tom and his mom got a new refrigerator that came in a big piece of packing foam. Tom kicked the foam down the hill and it tumbled down by the river. Tom’s mom told him to go find it so a duck would not choke on it. So Tom went down the hill and found the piece of foam. He kicked it again it fell in the river and it floated. Tom was curious he carefully put one foot on the foam, it still floated. Tom put both feet on the foam, it still floated. Tom slid his whole body onto the foam. His body gently swayed on the foam. Tom started to relax, as he did the sky got pink and orange and the light started to fade away. The first stars started to shine faintly. Tom floated down the river below the stars.

When tom woke up he was cold. The foam was going faster. Waves were licking at his feet! Tom sat up immediately and the water poured in from the sides, he layed down again shivering and sitting in a pool of water. Tom saw a hole water was being sucked into. His raft got pulled into the hole and rock was scraping him. When he was conscious again he found himself on a dark cold beach. Tom found a dead man and he used his headlamp and ate his sardines. Tom also found a dog. Later he fell down a waterfall and got caught in a net. He found Reg and that the  dog he found was Argus, Reg’s dog. Reg showed Tom his fathers grave and that the treasure hunters killed him. Phill had killed Tom’s father and almost killed Reg. Phil was pretending to be kind to Elizabeth.

Tom and Reg found a way out of the caves. They found statues and a sarcophagus. Elizabeth’s bed opened up and Tom and Reg came out. Reg killed Phill by shooting him with a gun.

Investing in Rainbow Spinning Tops will bring a positive return to everyone involved

                       By: Claire.D, Noah.F, Alyssa.G

Have you ever been bored, nothing to do? Have you ever wanted some competition with friends or brothers and sisters? Rainbow Spinning Tops are just for you! Rainbow spinning tops are spinning delights! Investing in our Rainbow Spinning Tops will bring a positive return to everyone involved. By investing in our Rainbow Spinning Tops you will get your money back plus interest. You will be giving ZCS students a fun thing to do. By supporting our company you will be helping Abigail, a Philippine fourth grader to go to a Christian school. Investing in Rainbow spinning Tops will bring a spin into your life!

The cost to build is low and the profit is high.

The cost to build one spinning top is $0.39. You can buy one Rainbow Spinning Top for a dollar. How we got this price is, we doubled the cost to build it and it was closer to a dollar than fifty cents. That is why we priced it at one dollar.  The profit for each Rainbow Spinning Top is $0.61. We will build 100 spinning tops. Our revenue will be $100.00, our expenses will be $45.00. $100-$45=$55.00 so our profit is $55.00.

They can be fun competition.

The fun part about Rainbow Spinning Tops is the competition. You can race your friends or brothers and sisters and see whose top can spin longer. And if they buy two you can race your family members. For example Noah’s brother made one and it spun for 3 minutes so it will be a good competition to do with someone.

Part of our profit goes to Abigail so she can go to a Christian school.

By investing in our company we are going to send money to Abigail, a Philippine fourth grader so she can continue to go to Grace Community Christian School. The reason we want Abigail to go to a Christian school is because  she would have to go to a public school with about 80-100 kids in one class. If that happens it would be hard to concentrate with all the kids making loud noises, but in Grace Community Christian School there is only about 15-25 kids in a class. Most of all we want her learn more about God so she can have Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

We believe you should invest in Rainbow Spinning Tops because you will get your money back plus 10% interest. You will also be giving ZCS students a fun thing to do  when they are bored. It will entertain them and they can have fun competition. You also should invest in Rainbow Spinning Tops because we are going to be giving some of our money to Abegail D. Bautista to go to a Christian school.

Investing in Rainbow Spinning Tops will bring a  positive return to everyone involved!
