The New Girl

By: Jordyn Maat

One day there was this girl named Anne and she was really shy (she was so shy she didn’t talk to anyone not even her teacher.) Anne had some really great friends that she met on the second to last day of school.

So on the last day of school her mom told her some big news and Anne did not like the big news.

Anne said “ I don’t want to move “ but Anne’s mom replied back “ You’ll love the new school and you’ll make new friends” but Ann screamed “I DON’T WANT NEW FRIENDS” “Anne’s mom finally said just tell your friends that you’re moving today.” “NO” Anne screamed but then Anne finally went up to bed.

The next day Anne told all her friends that she was moving (she was moving a state away) she was sad too Anne loved school during 1st grade but that day was the last day of school.

Anne had a great summer but when the summer was over she got sad because she was moving right that second.

Anne loved her new house but tomorrow was her 1st day at the new school and the last day of summer was almost over. At the dinner table Anne thought about the new school and she was thinking for a long time then her mom told her something “Anne you have to go to bed now” Anne replied “Okay mom” so Anne went up to bed.

The next day she got ready for school and then her mom drove her to school and Anne was so shy that she didn’t say a word the whole day but on the second day of school at recess these 2 girls came up to Anne, and they said “Hi our names are Emily and Alana would you like to play with us?” Anne just stood there then she finally replied she said “sure” Alana said great” right before Emily said “Would you like to be our friend?” Anne said “I’d love to”

So after school Anne told her mom this “MOM MOM I met these 2 girls Emily and Alana and there my new friends.”

And from that day forth Anne has loved talking and making new friends.
