I would have to say that I saw God when I went golfing with my dad and with some of my extended family. It was cool hanging out with them and also the golf course was really beautiful.

Matthew 7:24-25
24“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
I remember getting ready for bed at night and reading the bible with my Dad and Mom and for some reason I remember the story of the man who built his house and it stood strong, but the man who built his house on the sand fell. The man who built his house on the is the man who trusted God.”(Our theme this year, “Built on the Rock”, means a lot to me as both an 8th grader at ZCS and as a Christian in the world”.)
As a eighth grader this year I think it’s the most important thing to put this verse (built on the rock) into practice. Because if the other grades see us built on God and become great examples they’ll try to do the same. But just personally as a eighth grader. It’s good to planted in God because then there’s nothing in the word that can break you. Not even the person you hate the most trying to get you mad can affect you and lower your self esteem.
As a person in the world especially with social media, you can get down just because someone has more likes than you or more followers. Yet if you are planted in God you will know that the only thing you should care about is what God thinks of you. You can also get other people that don’t believe in the Savior to wonder, “why are so happy all the time or so giving”. Sometimes you don’t even have to talk to then. This also refers to last years theme Actions Speak Louder Then Words. Just try your best to act the same way Jesus did on earth.

Descriptive Writing
The globe card reminds me when when me and some of my classmates went to Costa Rica.I remember touching the warm water for the first time and feeling the rushing waves pulling my body to shore. It would flip me right side up, sideways, and every way I could think of. I could also hear the waves crash and bubble as the crashed on my face. I kept running into each other and we got swept away by the waves. As I opened my eyes the started to burn as my mouth tasted like salt. As I exited the water I could feel the heat of the sun on the back of my neck.
The suitcase card reminds when we packed up and we went to a resort in florida to relax. I remember going snorkeling seeing the jellyfish floating gracefully with a pack of baracuta in the warm water that would relax your mind. I remember watching the fish swim right by you just like you belonged in the water with them. As I left the water I could could feel the hot sand underneath my feet. As you looked back you could see the clear water stretching out from what seemed like forever. As I walked back to the resort I could see some snakes and lizards just hangin out on the board wall without a care in the world. That’s the way I felt for the rest of the vacation.
The time clock card reminds me of when I was in chicago with my baseball team and played baseball and relaxed. Waking up every morning and walking to the breakfast station and eating with the baseball team and just talking without a care in the word. Then going outside and playing spike ball. We didn’t even know or care what time it was even though we had a baseball game the next day. Then going to the baseball game and having the best people you could think of behind you is the best thing you could think of. Then seeing the fresh cut grass and dirt underneath you just gets you so excited for the game. When the game starts you can just feel the goosebumps on your neck and you can’t think of anything better to do and your mind just goes blank.
New Addition
I really like the new addition because there are place to park (unlike last year). It also looks a lot nicer then the old part of the school. But the thing that I like the most about the new addition is that is has AC. If we didn’t have it, I would be sweeting right know. The only thing I don’t like about the new addition is that it seems like the internet isn’t as strong as last year, maybe because theres more people in the school.

¿Quiénes Somos?
¿Qué aprendí sobre las diferencias y similaridades de personas en el mundo?
Lo que yo aprendí entre las diferencias y similaridades del mundo especialmente en el apartheid es que todos en el mundo quiere las mismas cosas. Todos quieren libertad, comunidad y respeto entre un y otro. También algunas quieren una oportunidad para ser rico o poderoso y cosas así. Como el apartheid en Sudáfrica, los blancos en este país querían poder y los negros querían libertad y respeto. También en el pasado y el presente hay países como los nazis de Alemania, norte Corea, etc. Algunas quieren ser más alto y poderoso de los demás. Lo mejor del mundo son las personas que ni tienen nada y son más felices cuando damos cinco centavos que un hombre que tiene todo que quiere. Por ejemplo los negros fueron tan felices cuando tenían la libertad votar en su propio país que los blancos que tenían todo.
¿Cómo estoy conectado a los demás a través de este tema?
No sé si realmente soy conectado con este tema y cosa que estaba pasando en Sudáfrica. Pero la historia de mi país es muy conectada con este tema solamente algunos años antes, cuando los negros ni podían votar y fueron esclavos. Cuando los estados querían contar cuántas personas estaban en nuestro país contaron ellos si fuera ⅗ de una persona. También algunas semanas atrás yo y mateo vio una película llamada “Selma”. Martin Luther King Jr. tenían un sueño que todos pueden votar y logro.

¿Qué me enseñó este tema de Dios–sus atributos y como se revela?
Lo que yo aprendí del Apartheid en Sudáfrica y de Dios es que tú puedes cambiar cosas locas en tu vida y cambiar este en algo positivos. Los negros del país básicamente fueron esclavos para los negros de este país. Pero después de mucho tiempo de sufragar para los negros. Finalmente, ellos fueron llamadas para votar por un presidente como los demás. Después de esto ellos están felices. Es claro que Dios estaba en esto.
¿Qué significa seguir a Jesús con respecto a este tema?
Seguir a Jesús con respecto para este tema es amar a todos y no ver el color de una persona ni como actúa ni cualquier cosa. Debes respetar a ellos si tu tuviera esta persona Dios creó cada persona en su propia cara. Y si él ama a las personas que este mundo dice que es diferente o malo. ¿Qué debes hacer?

¿Cómo me ha afectado este tema?
Este tema no afecta físicamente pero si afecta emocionalmente si afecta. En este día no hay ninguna cosa en nuestro país pero no estoy diciendo que no hay alrededor del mundo. En cualquier cosa segregación y personas sexistas, necesitamos orar para estas personas que con victimas de esto. También las personas que están causando esto.
¿Cómo he cambiado a través de lo que aprendí?
El tema de Apartheid he cambiado mi perspectiva del mundo. No sólo en una mala manera. No aprendí que el mundo es un lugar malo, lo que yo aprendí es que podemos tomar las cosas malas del mundo y cambiar en lugares seguros y buenos. Es un ejemplo que Dios pueden hacer cosas mágicas si hay personas buenas que quieren cambiar el mundo en maneras que ayuden todos.
Resumen
¿Qué pasó en Sudáfrica? En Sudáfrica había un gobierno injusto para los negros, llamaban este gobierno Apartheid. Básicamente este gobierno hace que los negros no pueden votar por un presidente. Básicamente los negros fueron esclavos en su propia país. Que no tiene sentido por mí. Básicamente es la misma cosa que pasó en los Estados Unidos muchos años atrás.

¿Cuáles resultados tangibles estarán presentes en tu vida, basados en estas respuestas?
Yo voy a tratar más y más para ser una persona que ama a todos mis enemigos, las personas que han tratado a mi como un malcriado. Como en la película “Invictus”. Donde Mandela ayudó a sus enemigos.
¿Qué es tu papel en la comunidad internacional con respecto a este tema?
No tengo rol muy grande en la comunidad internacional en este tema pero puedo informar esta escuela que hay cosas malcriadas en este mundo. No todo es perfecto como pensamos en nuestra ciudad pequeña.
¿Cómo respondes a lo que has aprendido?
Como dijo antes mi respuesta en lo que aprendió de Apartheid y Sudáfrica es que voy a informar nuestra comunidad de que está pasando en diferentes lugares en el mundo.

Nosotros/Argelia no somos un país muy rico entonces nosotros no podremos ayudar a las personas en Burundi como queremos, pero entendemos que esta pasando. También nuestra país terminó un guerra civil algunas años atrás como ellos entonces sabemos que es muy difícil vivir un vida normal después del guerra porque hay conflicto entre diferentes grupos étnicos. Pero creemos que ellos pueden resultar el conflicto y amar uno al otro, incluyendo el presidente que está causando el protestos.
Yo aprendí que hay mucho ocuriendo alrededor del mundo y que zeeland y Michigan sino que hay malas cosas somos proyectado de todo las guerras y conflictos alrededor del mundo. Si nosotros no estaba hablando y aprendiendo de esto yo no tenía un idea de que está pasando en Burundi.

Viaje De Europa
En mi viaje de Europa empece en Italia donde un tiburón trato de comerme pero paro y mato con solo mis manos y después comió. Después fue a España y jugé el jugo de castellers Y yo gano el juego de todo el país. también fue a Portugal y aprendí como hablar portales.
