Dia de los Muertos
In Spanish class today we did our own Dia de los Muertos. Dia de los Muertos is when mexicans celebrate the lives of their family members and friends who have died. The actually day is November 1 or 2.
In class we got small slips of paper and wrote the person’s name who died and then on the other side we wrote why we were celebrating them. We then taped to a tooth pick to make a small flag. The we stuck them in a pan of sand. In my opinion it is very cool and a little weird. If I had to do this every year I would not be very exited. It was interesting though.

Yeah, I thought it was interesting too. I think it’s a unique idea. I don’t know if I’d want to do it every year either.
