I read the “royal bridegroom” It was about a girl that was dressed and tought as a boy would have been. Then when it was time to marry she had no choice but to marry a girl. Then she told a story which was her story. then the princess was mad and was about to kill her when the “boy” pleaded with her to spare her life. then they told the story to the empire and the same thing happened to the empire as did the princess.

I visualize two woman talking to themselves and one that has a red face and a mad looking look. I also see a wine pitcher and a wine cup in the “boys” hand laughing. I also see a veil on the bed and two people looking at each other. I also see a bed in a chamber. Another thing I see is maids waiting to be called in.

A thing that puzzled me is why did a caption want a son so fast and not a daughter? A thing I disliked about the book is that the people didn’t want the girls. Another thing that puzzled me is why were the bride and bridegroom were in a wedding chamber? What I noticed about the princess is that she finds faults in other people. The princess gets mad if she has to do the work and not her maids.
