Well if I found a new Island, I would want it to be tropical with lots of cool animals, not just plain with nothing on it. I would buils houses in the tropical forest. I would have a house in the tree that would be high and I could se the sea. I would have a good goverment that if there is a argument will break it apart. And not make more taxes for the people.  (Not like the British and the Americans.) Some of my laws would be that-

1. Pay your taxes
2. And for my arm only fier at your command
3. Don’t to anything that involves murdering or stealing
4. Don’t cut any trees if I allow it
5. Don’t hurt any indanger specie
6. No littering
7. No one go in my house in less your invited
8. All of your supplies must be reused
9. No burning other peoples stuff

And last but not least
