My 8th, and final, theme is the Sinai law. This is about how the Israelites basically made a contract or a law with God. God gave the Israelites 10 rules to follow. They agreed to follow them. But that is a very hard thing to follow. Because they had idols in their lives just the same has you and me. They made a golden calf. My visual is a contract with 2 people shaking hands. I picked this visual because God gave them rules and they had to follow them. I thought that made a contract or maybe a law. We all have some idols in our lives. Mine are probably friends, school and sports. I don’t want to have idols in my life, I just want God.
