Eighth Grade Shadow Day
On Shadow Day I went to Royal Atrium Inn. I shadowed a RN who works in the administrative office. At first we worked in the office changing medications. Then we went to a paper signing for a new resident. After the we went back to her office and ate lunch. Then we did some check-ups on residents. One of them wasn’t doing well, and after long phone calls he was sent to the hospital. As soon as the paramedics came and put him on oxygen he perked right up. Later I followed a nursing assistant. We gave out pills and helped with exercises and walks. I had a great day on shadow day.
