Descriptive Writing

The ladder reminds me of the time I had to paint the white on my whole house. Thankfully, I got paid. I felt ready to get started with this project, but by the end I was ready to be done. I heard the loud T.V. booming From inside the house and I wished that I was on my couch watching it. As I held the brush, I could feel my hands slowly giving up. It felt like I was carrying a suitcase full of rocks. Sometimes, I would just stand there very stubborn thinking I could never get it done. By the end I walked into my house proud of all the work. I could feel my whole body sinking into the couch and my muscles relaxing as I watched T.V.

The Anchor Reminds me of my boat. I got my swimsuit on excited to master wake surfing. As I went outside, expecting to see my family ready, my mom told me that it broke. Sadness filled my face. I was like a dog without a toy. I sat down and looked around. I saw pie and new that that would cheer me up. I went over there and could already smelt the fresh cherries. I could already taste it.

The dollar sign reminds me of the time we went dune riding at Sliver Lake because it costed money. We rented a jeep and one razor. Even though I wasn’t old enough my dad let me drive the razor. I could feel the rushing nerves flowing through my fingers. I did not want to screw up. I could feel the ground shook as the loud engines roared from the background. I love to people watch. Some people were very risky and didn’t take no for an answer. We rode till our time was up. Then, when it was time to go, we decided we would have to do it again.
