The last couple weeks we have been working on a Egypt Project learning about the Egypt Civilization. In our school Egyptain Project we were trying to make a museum exibit about the characteristics or civilization. Which is like Art, Writing, Social Stucture, Stable Food Supply, and so on and so forth. We got into groups which my group is Elizabeth, Mason, Lindsey, and Daniel and we started working on how to show these charaterisitics. We made a egypt coffin with a pharaoh face. 😀 and we make a big cardboard booard with the squinx face on it. and Videos, and so on. My favorite thing to create was the video about the Egyptain afterlife that they believed in. That was very fun, we got to mummify Mason! 🙂 I learned that there where hieroglyphics in Egypt and they used hieroglyphics like a code, the Egyptains were around the only ones that used this writings, so they took avanage of that and they used it like a code. So like in wars if they mailed out messages and it got into the emiemes hands, they wouldn’t be able to understand it. So it was used like a code. I also learned that they thought of the Pharaoh as a god, and that the Pharaoh was like the main sorce or Goverment, he had umlimited power. He could do whatever he wanted in the land. Everything in the land belonged to the Pharaoh, the people the things, the goods, everything. I learned how to cllaboration while in my group. I learned to be more patient and listen to everyones ideas and but more respectful. It was a very fun activity!
