What We Have Been Learning:

Hudson was our friend UP IN LIGHTS! We saw Hudson’s love for music and danced to one of his favorite school songs (House of Lord). We also learned that Hudson enjoys riding horses and loves cars. We love you Hudson!

What We Have Been Learning:

Engaging God’s World:We used ramps to explore motion. Each group built and tested a ramp with different balls.

Phonemic Awareness: We are segmenting words and it is going so well!

Bible: We are reading about Jesus’s Ministry and focusing on Miracles. It is amazing to see God’s power. As we read the stories of turning water into wine and healing a paralyzed man, we see Jesus always point to God and his power. We enjoy singing this song : OUR GOD

Literacy Centers: I switched to calling our Daily 5 to Literacy Centers simply because I am rotating groups between work with teacher (both me and Mrs. Lacy), work on writing, word work and read to self. We will return to more choice after a few weeks of reviewing expectations and building our stamina back after a very choppy January. 🙂
